Hyderabad | Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has urged voters in the Jubilee Hills constituency to make a “wise decision” in the upcoming by-election, emphasizing the Congress government’s role in shaping Hyderabad’s development and criticizing the previous BRS administration for fiscal mismanagement.

Addressing a press conference, Reddy said, “Voters should think wisely and make a decision in the Jubilee Hills by-election taking place on the 11th of this month. Voters should think about the overall development of Telangana. People should see how much development Congress has achieved during its time. Giving the state to BRS led to huge debts."

He highlighted the Congress government’s major contributions to Hyderabad’s infrastructure, stating, “Wasn’t it Congress that made Hyderabad a metropolis? Metro, Outer Ring Road, International Airport — all these were brought by the Congress government.”

Criticizing BJP and BRS leaders, Reddy said, “If Hyderabad is submerged in floods, G. Kishan Reddy will not bring a single penny from the Centre. The construction and demolition of Kaleshwaram happened within three years, and ₹1 lakh crore was drained into the Godavari.”

Calling Hyderabad the “growth engine” of Telangana during the Congress tenure, Reddy appealed to residents of Jubilee Hills to support his party, asserting that only Congress could ensure sustainable progress and responsible governance for the state.
