New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Reena Gupta has dismissed the recent exit poll projections for the Delhi Assembly elections, asserting that they consistently underestimate the party’s performance. Gupta, who has actively participated in four consecutive Delhi elections, remains confident of a resounding victory for AAP and its leader Arvind Kejriwal.
“This is the 4th election of Delhi in which I have participated, and you can see the other polls—whether it is 2013, 2015—exit polls always show AAP getting fewer seats, and when the actual results come, AAP would get bumper seats,” Gupta stated, referencing the party’s track record of defying exit poll predictions in previous elections.
Expressing unwavering faith in the electorate, Gupta confidently projected that Arvind Kejriwal would secure a historic number of seats and return as Chief Minister for the fourth time. “Arvind Kejriwal is going to get historic seats... For the 4th time, people of Delhi will be making Arvind Kejriwal their CM,” she added.
