Patna, Bihar: BJP MP and Bhojpuri film star Ravi Kishan on Friday voiced strong optimism about the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) prospects in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, citing an unprecedented level of public enthusiasm across the state.
Speaking to reporters in Patna, Kishan said, “We had also come in the previous election, but the public’s enthusiasm this time is even greater. It feels like voting should happen today itself. If voting happens tomorrow, NDA will get overwhelming support.”
The Gorakhpur MP, known for his popularity in the Bhojpuri-speaking belt, said the mood on the ground clearly reflected support for the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Commenting on Bhojpuri actor-singer Khesari Lal Yadav filing his nomination, Kishan remarked, “He is my younger brother, but the entire Bhojpuri community stands with development. His views are different, but we — Manoj Tiwari, Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’, and I — are all with development.”
