Civil Aviation Minister Aims for Zero Aviation Incidents

In an address to the media, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring safety in the aviation sector. He noted the overall decline in the number of accidents over the past 50 years, highlighting improvements in safety standards.

"We are working with all the stakeholders, and the overall number of accidents has collectively decreased over the last 50 years," Kinjarapu said. Despite these improvements, he acknowledged the growing role of human factors in incidents.

"The contribution of humanness has increased," he remarked, stressing the need to address human error as part of safety efforts. "We want to bring it to zero incidents, and zero accidents."

Kinjarapu also called for greater collaboration among all stakeholders in the aviation industry. "We request the cooperation of all the airliners and everyone so that we can collectively address aviation psychology," he concluded.

The minister's statement underscores the government's ongoing efforts to enhance aviation safety and work towards eliminating accidents altogether.
