Rajnath Singh Praises Spiritual Institutions for Supporting Warriors and National Well-being

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, speaking at a spiritual gathering, acknowledged the timeless relationship between India’s saints and its warriors, describing it as a foundational pillar of Indian society. He praised spiritual institutions for continuing to guide and support the armed forces while expanding their influence beyond traditional spiritual realms.

“In India, since time immemorial, our saints have guided warriors, and warriors have provided security to society. All of you are upholding that very tradition,” Singh said, emphasizing the symbiotic relationship that has long existed between spiritual leaders and defenders of the nation.

He added, “While the contribution of this institution to the nation’s spiritual development is well-known across the country, I am also delighted to see that you have expanded your scope far beyond spirituality.”
