Rajnath Singh Lauds Yogi Adityanath for Transforming Uttar Pradesh, Flags Off First Batch of BrahMos Missiles

Lucknow | Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday flagged off the first batch of BrahMos missiles manufactured at the Lucknow unit, marking a significant milestone in India’s defence production capabilities. During the ceremony, Singh praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for transforming Uttar Pradesh from a state once plagued by lawlessness to one now seen as an emerging hub of security and investment.

“Uttar Pradesh was once known for its ‘gunda raj’ and deteriorating law and order. People lived in fear. Investors were reluctant to come here. But today’s Uttar Pradesh has transformed under the leadership of our Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,” Singh said, commending the CM’s efforts to restore public confidence and promote industrial growth.

He described Yogi’s handling of law and order as “exemplary in itself,” noting that the state now offers a conducive environment for both defence and industrial projects. “This is not only a symbol of the power of BrahMos and our armed forces, but also a message that Uttar Pradesh is ready to handle any challenge,” he remarked.

Expressing gratitude for the state government’s cooperation, Singh added, “I cannot praise enough the wholehearted support of Yogi Adityanath in setting up this facility. I never had to worry about any shortage of anything.”
