New Delhi — Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Telangana on the occasion of the state’s Statehood Day. In a message posted on social media, Singh praised the spirit and cultural richness of India’s youngest state while expressing hope for its continued development and prosperity.
“Warm wishes to the people of Telangana on their Statehood Day. This vibrant state reflects the spirit of resilience, rich heritage and immense talent. Praying for the growth and prosperity of the state,” Singh wrote.
Telangana, which was officially formed on June 2, 2014, after bifurcation from Andhra Pradesh, marks its 11th Statehood Day this year. The day is observed with celebrations across the state, showcasing its unique cultural identity and progress over the past decade.
