By A Staff Reporter — Jaipur: Amid growing demands from students to cancel the recent Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment exam, Rajasthan Minister Kirodi Lal Meena has assured them of government support and action. Following discussions with student representatives, Meena promised to meet with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot after the ongoing bypolls to address their grievances.

The SI exam, which saw participation from around nine lakh unemployed individuals, has been under scrutiny after allegations surfaced regarding widespread irregularities and paper leaks. Minister Meena acknowledged these concerns, citing reports that suggest large-scale issues, including the involvement of certain members of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC).

“In the previous administration, many recruitment drives were plagued with fraud,” he remarked, adding that the current government has launched an investigation into the SI exam allegations. He confirmed that 50 inspectors have been arrested as part of this probe, underscoring the state’s commitment to upholding the integrity of the recruitment process.

Meena emphasized that if the allegations against the RPSC members are proven true, strict action will be taken. He expressed his gratitude to the students for showing their trust in him and assured them of a fair resolution.
