Jaipur: Rajasthan Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore on Thursday announced that the state cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, has approved two major policy decisions aimed at accelerating employment generation, boosting investment and strengthening linkages with expatriate Rajasthanis. Speaking after the cabinet meeting, Rathore said both decisions hold “significant importance for our youth, Rajasthan, and expatriate Rajasthanis.”

Highlighting the state’s advantages, he said Rajasthan’s geographical position and comparatively lower land prices make it an attractive destination for large-scale capacity centres and global enterprises. “The youth in Rajasthan are educated, hardworking, and technologically advanced,” he said, emphasising that the state government intends to leverage this talent pool to drive economic transformation.

Rathore announced that the Rajasthan Global Capacity Centre Plan 2025 has been approved, paving the way for the establishment of Global Capacity Centres (GCCs) that can employ thousands of skilled workers. He noted that such centres require both adequate land and a steady supply of trained manpower—two areas where Rajasthan is well-positioned to deliver. “The plan we have developed is very attractive,” he added, suggesting that the initiative will draw substantial investment and create new high-quality job opportunities.
