In a public rally in Nuh, Haryana, Congress leader and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi took aim at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), accusing them of spreading hate across the country. "BJP and RSS spread hate," he remarked, stressing the importance of unity and love in the current political climate.
Gandhi outlined what he framed as a fundamental battle in India between love and hate, declaring, "We have to eradicate hate... The fight is between love and hate." He positioned the Congress party as the force standing for peace and harmony, calling on the people of Nuh and Haryana to support Congress in the upcoming elections.
The Congress leader also addressed the presence of smaller parties in the election race, labeling them as mere extensions of the BJP. He criticized these parties as "the A, B, C, and D teams of Haryana" and insisted that only Congress could effectively challenge the BJP's hold on power.
In a final call to action, Rahul Gandhi urged voters to cast their ballots for Congress, saying, "Vote for the Congress party and remove the BJP from power." His appeal focused on the need to restore unity and move beyond the politics of division.
