Delhi: BJP leader Gourav Vallabh on Wednesday hit back at Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his allegations of voter fraud in the Haryana Assembly elections, accusing him of spreading “anarchy” and conceding defeat even before the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Reacting to Gandhi’s remarks, Vallabh said, “Rahul Gandhi has accepted the INDI alliance's worst defeat even before the elections this time. All exit polls had predicted 400 seats for the BJP in the Lok Sabha, so did Rahul Gandhi orchestrate that vote theft?”
Vallabh alleged that the Congress leader was attempting to undermine public confidence in democratic institutions. “He wants to spread an atmosphere of anarchy in the country,” he said. “Instead of accepting the people’s mandate, Rahul Gandhi is trying to mislead voters by questioning the integrity of the Election Commission.”
Taking aim at Gandhi’s outreach to young voters, Vallabh added, “He thinks that Gen Z will give them power, but today’s youth understand the difference between development and disruption. They know who is working for India’s growth.”
