Bathinda: Ahead of the 26th January Republic Day celebrations, Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav reaffirmed the state's readiness to ensure peace and law and order. Speaking from Bathinda, where he conducted a security review meeting with police personnel, DGP Yadav emphasized the Punjab Police's commitment to maintaining harmony and tackling any threats effectively.
"I am conducting range-wise meetings with police personnel to review security and preparedness in view of 26th January. Today, I am in Bathinda, where we will also inaugurate a conference hall," said DGP Yadav.
He added that security measures across the state have been enhanced, with increased police deployment and the activation of intelligence-gathering mechanisms.
"Punjab Police will maintain peace and harmony in the state. We have a complete hold on anti-national elements and will give a befitting reply to anyone attempting to disrupt law and order," he assured.
