In a bold statement ahead of the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann expressed confidence that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal would secure a fourth consecutive term. Speaking at a public event, Mann asserted that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) continues to enjoy increasing love and support from the people of Delhi.
"The love of the people is increasing day by day because people are slowly coming out," said Mann. "The people have made up their minds. Arvind Kejriwal will become the Chief Minister for the fourth time in a row, and the margin will also increase."
Mann highlighted what he perceives as a lack of competition for AAP, dismissing both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress as serious contenders. "Wherever I go, I see that there is no competition. The BJP does not have any agenda, and Congress got zero votes last time," he added.
The Punjab CM's remarks come amidst a heated election season, with AAP focusing on its governance track record, including its efforts in education, healthcare, and public welfare. Meanwhile, opposition parties are intensifying their campaigns, aiming to regain lost ground in the national capital.
