Patna: Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor on Monday commented on the announcement of Bihar Assembly election dates, urging voters to focus on issues of development rather than personalities.
“Voting will not be done for Lalu-Prashant Kishor. Voting will be done by people for their children, for their education and employment, for a change in Bihar,” Kishor said. He emphasized that the upcoming elections represent an opportunity to set the state on a long-term path of growth and improvement.
Kishor outlined a vision for Bihar over the next decade, stating, “It will be for the beginning that we dream of – that in the coming 10 years, Bihar will be among the 10 leading states of the country.” His remarks highlighted the focus on education, employment, and governance reforms as central themes in the political discourse leading up to the polls.
