Patna: As protests over the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) exams continue, Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor has called on the government to take immediate action to resolve students’ grievances. His remarks came after a delegation of protesting students met Bihar Chief Secretary Amritlal Meena earlier today to highlight issues with the exam process.

Kishor emphasized the importance of addressing the students’ demands to prevent the situation from escalating. “If our issues are not resolved, then the form that our agitation will take from January 2… we will put more strength in that and protest,” he warned.

The Jan Suraaj leader also indicated that the protests could move to the judicial arena. “On January 3, we will also go to court. We will also look into using whatever legal options are available,” Kishor added, signaling a multi-pronged approach to pressuring the government.

The protests stem from alleged irregularities in the BPSC examination process, with students demanding fairness, accountability, and transparency. Kishor urged the Bihar government to act swiftly and positively to avoid further unrest. “To avoid such a situation, we request the government to take a positive decision,” he appealed.

The protests have drawn widespread attention as they involve the future of thousands of aspirants preparing for government jobs. Kishor’s involvement adds weight to the students’ demands and puts additional pressure on the administration to resolve the crisis promptly.
