Prashant Kishor

Dhaka, East Champaran: Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor on Saturday addressed voters in Bihar, urging them to make informed choices without fear of political parties. Speaking at a public gathering, Kishor emphasized that citizens now have alternative options beyond the traditional Modi-Nitish and Lalu Yadav political equations.
Bihar voters, he said, do not need to vote the Modi-Nitish alliance out of fear of Lalu Yadav, nor act as a “kerosene oil” for Lalu due to fear of the BJP. “Parties try to show fear of the BJP to gain votes, but I want to tell you, don’t be scared of the BJP,” Kishor remarked.
Addressing the Muslim community specifically, he added, “If you are Muslim, fear Allah and choose the better option that you now have.” Kishor’s statement underscores the Jan Suraaj Party’s attempt to position itself as a credible alternative, encouraging voters to focus on development and governance rather than traditional political loyalties.
