Gopalganj, Bihar, June 17: Political strategist-turned-activist and Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor launched a sharp attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, raising questions about his ability to govern and alleging that decisions in the state are being taken by those surrounding him.

Speaking during his outreach in Gopalganj, Kishor said, “I am saying this every day — who is doing all the appointments and transfers in the state? Nitish Kumar is not in a position to make any decision. A person who is not physically or mentally healthy is not making any decisions. So, the people around him are doing it.”

His remarks come amid ongoing political churn in Bihar, where the ruling alliance continues to face criticism over governance and administrative transparency. Kishor, who has positioned himself as a vocal challenger to the state’s political establishment, did not hold back in also mocking Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav.

“But the funniest thing,” Kishor added, “is that Tejashwi Yadav is saying that ‘pariwarvaad’ (dynastic politics) is happening. The family that has eight people in politics is pointing fingers at others.”
