Siwan, Bihar – Jan Suraaj Party founder and political strategist Prashant Kishor delivered a sharp critique of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) during a public address in Siwan, targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over leadership ambiguity and unfulfilled promises.

Kishor challenged the BJP to come clean about its chief ministerial candidate for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. "If Nitish Kumar is the face of NDA, then Narendra Modi or Amit Shah should announce it," Kishor stated. He pointed out that while Prime Minister Modi recently referred to Nitish as the "beloved Chief Minister of Bihar," he notably did not confirm whether Kumar would retain the role after 2025. “He should announce it, and the public will tell whether he is the beloved or not,” Kishor remarked, suggesting growing skepticism among voters.

Kishor also raised serious concerns about the ₹1.25 lakh crore special package for Bihar that PM Modi announced in 2015. "What happened to that money? Did you not send the package, or did the NDA government and its ministers and officers loot the package here?" he questioned, implying a lack of transparency and accountability in the use of central funds.

Accusing the central leadership of neglecting Bihar, Kishor demanded that PM Modi devote time specifically to address the state's chronic issues, including unemployment, infrastructure deficits, and large-scale migration. “When will you take out a day of your life for Bihar… to stop migration from Bihar, in which the basic problems of Bihar should be discussed?” he asked pointedly.
