Taraiya (Saran), Bihar – In a strongly worded public address, Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor voiced the growing discontent among the people of Bihar, stating that the support he is receiving is not a reflection of personal popularity but a mass movement demanding systemic change.
Speaking at a gathering in Taraiya, Saran district, Kishor said, “It’s not my personal graph that’s rising — it’s the growing aspiration of the people who want to see real change in Bihar.” He emphasized that the crowd before him was not bound by familial or caste ties, but by a shared frustration against decades of misrule and corruption.
“These people are not my relatives, nor are they from my caste. They come from all walks of life,” he said. “What unites them is a common dream — quality education, meaningful employment, and freedom from corrupt and ineffective leadership.”
Kishor, a former political strategist turned reform advocate, has been travelling across Bihar under the Jan Suraaj Yatra, engaging directly with citizens. His message resonates particularly with the youth and rural populations, who are often worst affected by lack of governance, poor infrastructure, and limited job opportunities.
