Prashant Kishor
By A Staff Reporter
At a public event in Sasaram, Bihar, Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor launched a strong attack on the Congress party and its leader Rahul Gandhi, alleging that decades of misgovernance had left Bihar as the poorest state in the country.
Kishor claimed that those responsible for looting the state’s resources would be held accountable, promising that every rupee taken would be recovered, even from future generations of the alleged wrongdoers. He accused the Congress of contributing to the state’s current condition through its prolonged governance, stating that the party had ruled for 45 years without bringing substantial improvement.
He also criticised a 15-year period of what he described as “jungle raj” in Bihar, holding Rahul Gandhi politically responsible and calling for a public apology. According to Kishor, such an apology would lend credibility to Gandhi’s ongoing political outreach through his yatra.
