ARRAH, BIHAR — Jan Suraaj founder and political strategist-turned-leader Prashant Kishor invoked regional pride as he began his election rally in Arrah on Tuesday with chants of “Jai Bihar.”

Addressing a large gathering, Kishor said he was not asking people for votes but urging them to act consciously when they head to the polling booths. “I do not ask for votes. But when after three days the election day will come, then follow the path which I have given, only then the condition of Bihar will improve,” he told the crowd.

Kishor, who has been running the Jan Suraaj campaign across the state for over two years, reiterated his message of systemic reform and people-led governance. He said Bihar’s transformation would not come from promises or slogans but through collective effort and accountability.

Positioning his movement as an alternative to traditional politics, the former poll strategist urged citizens to rise above caste and party loyalties. “The change Bihar needs will come only when people decide to take control of their destiny,” he said.
