Patna, Bihar: Jan Suraaj founder and political strategist Prashant Kishor levelled serious allegations against senior political figures in Bihar during a press conference held in Patna. Addressing the media, Kishor criticized what he described as repeated administrative failures and alleged corruption in the state’s health and education sectors.

Referring to the state’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kishor said, “People of Bihar suffered the most during COVID when Mangal Pandey was the Health Minister. Whenever a government forms, he becomes the Health Minister so that he can do the loot. We won't spare them.”

He also raised concerns about the influence of illicit networks in state politics, specifically naming Dilip Jaiswal, the current state president of a political party, in connection with land and liquor mafias. “The current issue is of Dilip Jaiswal… He has taken over the medical college in Kishanganj,” Kishor alleged, pointing to what he described as politically backed encroachment of public institutions.
