Delhi: Union Minister and BJP leader Pralhad Joshi on Wednesday reacted to media reports of a power tussle within the Karnataka government, asserting that while there may be no visible internal clash, the administration is facing turmoil on the ground. Joshi alleged that confusion among legislators, factional divides and ineffective governance have pushed the state into serious administrative disorder.

Speaking to the media, Joshi said that despite claims of unity, Congress MLAs appear uncertain about whom to support. “There is no internal conflict… everything is in open now. MLAs are in confusion over whom to support, some are involved in factionalism. The entire administration has collapsed,” he said. He added that civic and public health infrastructure has deteriorated, with Bengaluru struggling under pothole-ridden roads and several hospitals reportedly facing medicine shortages.

Joshi further criticised the leadership structure of the ruling party, pointing to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement that the ‘high command’ will decide on the matter. “Kharge ji is himself part of the high command, and Rahul Gandhi is roaming everywhere,” he remarked, suggesting a lack of governance focus.
