Gandhinagar: Gujarat Education Minister Praful Pansheriya has announced strict measures against government school teachers found absent without authorization or traveling abroad. Speaking on the issue, Pansheriya revealed that recent reports indicated some teachers had taken unauthorized leave or were on foreign trips.
"We had a meeting today and gathered information from each district. In 17 districts, 31 teachers are on unauthorized leave, and 32 teachers are abroad. All these teachers are not being given any salary," Pansheriya stated. He emphasized that the remaining district reports would be received by evening, and strict legal action would be taken against the violators. The Chief Minister has also directed that appropriate measures be enforced.
