Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s employment initiative, calling the distribution of appointment letters to over 51,000 youths across the country a “historic step” and a reflection of the Prime Minister’s commitment to youth empowerment and national development.
In a public post, Dhami said, “Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji's initiative to provide appointment letters to over 51,000 youths across the country is not only a historic step in the field of employment but also a strong testament to his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the youth.”
Drawing inspiration from the central initiative, Dhami highlighted his state government’s own progress in employment generation. “Inspired by the guidance and vision of Honorable Prime Minister ji, our government is also continuously moving forward with the resolve to empower and make the youth of the state self-reliant,” he added.
According to Dhami, the Uttarakhand government has provided over 24,000 government jobs to youths in the last three years, reflecting the state’s commitment to sustainable employment. He said Uttarakhand is “forging new dimensions of employment” and is on a steady path toward achieving the goal of a “Developed India.”
