New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced his visit to Andhra Pradesh on 16th October, during which he will engage in religious and developmental activities across the state.
According to his official post, PM Modi will begin his day at the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Varla Devasthanam in Srisailam to offer prayers. Following this, he will proceed to Kurnool to inaugurate or lay the foundation stones for development projects valued at over ₹13,400 crore.
“These works cover sectors like power, railways, petroleum, defence, industries and more,” the Prime Minister stated, highlighting the government’s focus on holistic regional development.
Officials said the projects are part of Andhra Pradesh’s broader infrastructure and industrial expansion initiatives, expected to enhance connectivity, energy supply, and economic growth in the region. PM Modi’s visit comes amid heightened attention on ongoing and upcoming central investments in the state.
