New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the latest addition to India’s modern railway infrastructure—the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail—connecting Jayanagar and Patna. This new service aims to revolutionize intercity travel in Bihar and exemplifies the government’s push for high-speed, commuter-friendly public transportation.
According to Railway Board Executive Director of Information & Publicity (ED/IP) Dilip Kumar, the new train represents a significant leap in passenger convenience and rail innovation. “The Namo Bharat Rapid Rail marks the future of Indian Railways, revolutionising intercity travel,” he said. “The train features ergonomically designed seats, convenient handles, and advanced amenities like CCTV cameras and a talk-back facility, allowing passengers to communicate directly with the loco pilot or train manager.”
