Patna, Bihar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Tuesday interact with women workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar, as the state gears up for the first phase of the assembly elections.
The interaction comes at a crucial time, with political campaigning entering its final stretch. Party leaders said the Prime Minister’s outreach aims to energise the NDA’s grassroots network and highlight the government’s initiatives focused on women’s empowerment, welfare, and social inclusion.
According to BJP sources, Modi is expected to commend the role of women party workers in mobilising voters and strengthening the alliance’s presence across Bihar’s constituencies. The event will also provide a platform to discuss the NDA government’s key welfare schemes such as Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan, and PM Awas Yojana, which have directly benefited women.
Senior NDA leaders, including state BJP functionaries and women representatives from coalition partners, are likely to attend the session.
