Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said he will participate in the 550th-year celebration ceremony of the Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math, scheduled to take place in Canacona, Goa. Sharing the announcement on social media, the Prime Minister called the occasion special and expressed enthusiasm about joining devotees and followers to mark the milestone.
“Tomorrow, 28th November, is a special day as the programme to mark the 550th-year celebration of the Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math will be held in Canacona, Goa. I look forward to joining the celebrations,” the Prime Minister posted.
Modi added that a 77-feet statue of Prabhu Shri Ram will be inaugurated during the event, making it one of the key highlights of the ceremony. The installation is expected to draw large participation from devotees and spiritual leaders, celebrating the historical significance of the Math, which is one of the prominent religious institutions of the region.
