Araria, Bihar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday told an election rally in Araria that recent disclosures had exposed a widening rift between the Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), and warned voters the clash would only grow sharper after the results. “A few days ago, I exposed the truth behind the ongoing feud between Congress and RJD. After this truth came out, the feud between them has intensified even more,” Modi said, according to video and agency reports.
The Prime Minister said the Congress had even fielded a candidate for the deputy chief minister’s position opposite the RJD, and that media interviews were revealing alleged misrule under the RJD. He accused RJD’s years in power of creating a “jungle raj” in which marginalised groups — Dalits, Mahadalits and Extremely Backward Classes — suffered the most, and urged voters to remember those claims when casting their ballots.
Modi framed the dispute as evidence of instability within the INDIA bloc, suggesting that internal tensions would erupt once the election outcome was known. “This is just the beginning; wait for the election results to come, these Congress and RJD people are going to tear each other's hair out,” he told the crowd, using vivid language to underscore his prediction of post-poll discord.
