Nava Raipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday participated in the Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav, celebrating 25 years of the state’s formation, and inaugurated multiple development projects, memorials, and welfare initiatives in Nava Raipur.
PM Modi inaugurated the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial and Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum, dedicated to honoring the legacy of tribal heroes who played a crucial role in India’s freedom struggle. He also inaugurated the new building of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, symbolizing the state’s democratic progress.
During the event, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stones and inaugurated projects worth ₹14,260 crore across key sectors including industry, healthcare, and energy. These initiatives, he said, will give a strong push to the state’s economic and social development.
Modi also handed over keys to beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing housing for all. “Chhattisgarh is moving rapidly on the path of development,” he said, commending the state’s achievements over the past 25 years.
