Nava Raipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated the new building of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth around ₹14,000 crore during the Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav celebrations in Nava Raipur.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi said, “Chhattisgarh is moving rapidly on the path of development. The new building of the Chhattisgarh legislative assembly has been inaugurated today, and the foundation has been laid for the development projects worth around Rs 14,000 crore.”
He emphasized that the new assembly building reflects the aspirations of a modern, progressive Chhattisgarh while symbolizing the state’s democratic and cultural identity. The development projects announced cover sectors such as infrastructure, connectivity, and public welfare, aimed at accelerating the state’s economic growth and improving the quality of life for its citizens.
