Puttaparthi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday formally welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he arrived in Puttaparthi to participate in the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The event, marking 100 years since the birth of the revered spiritual leader, drew prominent figures from the fields of politics, sports, and cinema.
Naidu, who received the Prime Minister upon his arrival, shared a warm moment of felicitations before accompanying him to the venue of the celebrations. The visit underscores the significance of Sathya Sai Baba’s legacy, whose global following continues to shape social, educational, and humanitarian initiatives.
The gathering witnessed the presence of several distinguished guests, reflecting the national and cultural impact of Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings. Former Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar attended the event, along with acclaimed actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
