NEW DELHI: Amid concerns over recent trade frictions with the United States, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Tuesday expressed confidence that the differences would be resolved through dialogue.
Speaking to reporters, Goyal underlined that discussions between the two countries have been ongoing for several months. “For months, we have been holding talks to find a solution. Yesterday, US representatives were in Delhi, and discussions went on for the entire day,” the minister said.
He emphasized that the strong bond between the two nations extends beyond trade. “The countries share a strong friendship as well as the leaders of India and the US, and I am hopeful that the situation will be resolved,” Goyal added.
