New Delhi: BJP candidate from the New Delhi assembly constituency, Parvesh Verma, has raised serious security concerns regarding the activities of Punjab officials and workers in the area. Speaking to the media, Verma alleged that Punjab’s Chief Minister, ministers, and MLAs have heavily deployed resources, including vehicles with Punjab registration numbers, in the New Delhi constituency.

"Thousands of vehicles having Punjab numbers are moving here—who are there in those vehicles? Republic Day preparations are going on. What big thing are those people planning that may compromise our security?" Verma questioned.

He also alleged that Chinese CCTV cameras were being installed in colonies near India Gate by personnel sent by the Punjab government. "A few people complained to the police as the colony is in proximity to India Gate. When they were caught, they said that AAP had sent them to install CCTV," Verma stated.
