New Delhi: Independent MP from Purnea, Pappu Yadav, on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the BJP, accusing the party of attempting to remove Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and exploiting tensions within the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Speaking to reporters, Yadav cited recent remarks by Rashtriya Lok Morcha leader Upendra Kushwaha to highlight growing unease within the alliance. “Upendra Kushwaha himself says that nothing is right in the (NDA) alliance,” Yadav said, suggesting internal discontent among key partners.
He further dismissed speculation about Nitish Kumar’s health, asserting that the Chief Minister remains fully capable of leading the state. “Nitish Kumar has made it clear that he is physically and mentally fine,” Yadav said.
Accusing the BJP of political opportunism, the MP said, “It has come to light before the public how greedy the BJP is. The public has understood the BJP's conspiracy that they want to remove Nitish Kumar.”
