Jaipur: Rajasthan Minister Jawahar Singh Bedam has stated that the recent violence in Tonk involved individuals from outside the village, asserting that the police are conducting a comprehensive investigation into the matter.

Speaking on the incident, the minister said, “A delegation of villagers met me yesterday regarding this entire incident. They clearly said that the villagers had no involvement in this. It also became clear that the 40-45 people detained are from outside.”

He emphasized that the authorities are focused on identifying and apprehending those responsible for the violence while ensuring that innocent people are not wrongly implicated. “The police are conducting a thorough investigation. Whoever is involved in this will be arrested. It has also been ensured that innocent people do not face any trouble,” Bedam reassured.

The incident has raised questions about the origins of the unrest, with suspicions surrounding the involvement of external forces. “It is a mystery and a matter of investigation as to who called these outsiders and why this violence was done,” Bedam added.

The government’s handling of the situation is being closely watched, with the administration aiming to restore peace and provide clarity on the motives behind the violence.

This incident underscores the importance of maintaining vigilance in rural areas and ensuring that outside elements do not disturb communal harmony. The state police, under the guidance of the local administration, is expected to expedite the investigation and address the public's concerns in the coming days.
