Ganderbal: Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has raised serious concerns over Israel’s recent military action against Iran, questioning the justification behind the attack in light of recent U.S. intelligence assessments.

Speaking to reporters in Ganderbal, Abdullah remarked, “I don't understand on what basis Israel attacked Iran. Just a few days back, the US intelligence in charge said that Iran is no closer to getting a nuclear weapon. If America said this a few weeks ago, then why did Israel attack Iran?”

The Chief Minister implied that political motivations may be driving the escalation, rather than clear and present threats. “Some politics are going on,” he said, “but we hope this stops and a solution can be reached based on dialogue.”
