By A Staff Reporter: In a recent statement from Bhubaneswar, Odisha’s Law Minister c announced that the state government is preparing to launch a new scheme aimed at the conservation, management, and improved oversight of temples and mutts across the state. Highlighting the need for preserving Odisha’s rich cultural heritage, Harichandan explained that the initiative would focus on comprehensive conservation and restructuring efforts to maintain these historic and religious sites.

“We are dedicated to taking steps that ensure the preservation of our cultural and religious heritage," Harichandan stated, adding that the goal of the scheme is to enhance the management of these sacred spaces while ensuring their long-term protection. He noted that a blueprint is currently under preparation, with detailed plans expected to be announced within the next 2-3 days.

The minister emphasized that this program is intended to provide a robust framework for the protection of temples and mutts, ensuring that future generations can continue to connect with Odisha's cultural legacy.
