Bhubaneswar | Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi addressed the ongoing two-day Collectors-SPs conference, focusing on improving the efficiency of the home department to deliver prompt justice to the common people. "I am closely working on how to enhance the efficiency of the home department to deliver prompt justice to common people," he stated.

The Chief Minister reiterated the state government's commitment to supporting police officials in their duties, ensuring they can perform their roles without facing undue challenges. "The state government is also taking appropriate steps to ensure that the police officials can discharge their duties properly without facing any problems," he added.

"As far as the infrastructure needed to respond during emergencies, the government is committed to the modernization of Odisha Police so that it becomes one of the best units in the country," he affirmed.
