Srinagar — In the wake of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) organized a protest demanding enhanced safety and security for Kashmiri students. Led by NSUI Jammu and Kashmir President Ajay Lakhotra, the protest took place in Srinagar, where members expressed their concerns over the rising incidents of terrorism and the harassment of students from the region.
“The safety of Kashmiri students should be a top priority. The recent terror attack in Pahalgam has intensified fears among students,” Lakhotra said during the demonstration. “We are here to demand that the government ensure the protection of our students, both in Kashmir and outside, from any form of violence or intimidation.”
