Patna: Union Minister Nityanand Rai on Thursday hailed the early trends of the Bihar Assembly Election results, asserting that the National Democratic Alliance’s strong showing reflects the people’s mandate against “Jungle Raj, corruption, and dynastic politics.” As the NDA surged ahead in initial counts, Rai said the electoral mood in Bihar demonstrated a clear preference for stability and continued development.

Reacting to the emerging results, Rai declared, “‘Jungle Raj’, corruption, and dynasts have been wiped out. The people know that PM Modi brings change and works for their welfare. The public trusts that PM Modi does what he promises, which has been evident in his 11 years of governance.” His remarks came as party workers across the state broke into celebrations, confident that the early trends signal a decisive mandate.

Rai emphasised that the NDA’s governance model—rooted in welfare schemes, infrastructure expansion, and law-and-order improvements—has resonated strongly with voters across both urban and rural constituencies. He added that Bihar’s electorate has repeatedly shown faith in leadership that prioritises development over rhetoric.
