Madhubani: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reaffirmed his government’s commitment to grassroots governance on Wednesday, announcing that the construction of Panchayat Sarkar Bhawans across the state will be completed ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. Speaking at an event in Madhubani to mark National Panchayati Raj Day, the veteran JD(U) leader highlighted the ongoing progress of the rural infrastructure project.

“The construction of Panchayat Sarkar Bhawan is being done in all panchayats. About 1,639 Panchayat Sarkar Bhawan have already been constructed, and work to complete the others is going on at a rapid pace,” Kumar stated. “The work will be completed before the (assembly) elections this year,” he added, underlining the government's resolve to strengthen rural administrative infrastructure.
