In a post on social media, the Prime Minister thanked the people of Thiruvananthapuram for their support and expressed appreciation for the efforts of BJP workers, crediting them for what he termed “spectacular results” in the civic body polls. He said the verdict reflected growing confidence among voters that the development aspirations of Kerala can be effectively addressed by the BJP.
“The mandate the BJP-NDA got in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation is a watershed moment in Kerala’s politics,” Modi said, adding that the people are increasingly certain that their aspirations for growth and progress can be fulfilled by the party.
