Delhi: Renowned actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has voiced strong condemnation of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, expressing deep sadness and anger over the tragic incident. Speaking to the media, Siddiqui emphasized that the nation stands united in grief and resolve.
“There is a lot of anger and sadness. Our government is working, and they (terrorists) will surely be punished,” Siddiqui said, showing confidence in the authorities’ swift action against those responsible. He described the attack as extremely sorrowful and called for justice for the victims.
Highlighting the spirit of the Kashmiri people, Siddiqui praised their unparalleled hospitality towards tourists. “The way the people of Kashmir welcome tourists is beyond money and everything else. The love Kashmiris have for us and all the tourists visiting there is remarkable,” he remarked, urging people to recognize the warmth and resilience of Kashmir’s residents even in difficult times.
Siddiqui stressed that despite the tragedy, the unity of the nation remains strong. “The entire country is united after this incident,” he affirmed, sending a message of solidarity and collective strength against attempts to instill fear through violence.
