Mumbai: BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday launched a strong rebuttal to Congress leader Udit Raj’s remarks questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for 2047, describing the criticism as part of a long-standing pattern of hostility toward the Prime Minister. Naqvi said such comments reflect a political mindset “driven by constant Modi-bashing,” which, he argued, has become characteristic of the opposition.

“This reflects a mindset driven by constant Modi-bashing… Their political untouchability and intolerance toward him is evident,” Naqvi told reporters. He added that despite persistent political attacks and criticism from what he termed the “Modi-bashing brigade,” the Prime Minister has remained focused on strengthening the country’s “honour, dignity, and identity.”

Referring to the broader vision for national development leading up to 2047—India’s centenary of Independence—Naqvi said Prime Minister Modi’s goals will be realised with the support and confidence of the people. “Whether it is about 1947, 2047, or the future beyond, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve and vision will be fulfilled with the blessings of the people,” he said.
