MANDSAUR — Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav paid tribute to Manohar Singh, the braveheart who lost his life after rescuing victims of a tragic road accident in Mandsaur. Singh managed to save four individuals after a van plunged into a well before succumbing himself during the rescue efforts.
Speaking about the incident, CM Yadav announced that the state government would formally honour Manohar Singh’s sacrifice. "The state government will honour Manohar Singh, who died while rescuing the victims after a van fell into a well. He rescued four persons before losing his own life," Yadav stated.
In addition to the honour, Yadav also declared that a member of Singh’s family would be offered a government job as a mark of respect and to provide financial security to the grieving household.
The announcement has been widely welcomed, with many hailing Manohar Singh as a symbol of courage and selflessness. Officials said that preparations are underway to formally recognize Singh’s heroism in a state ceremony.
