Bhopal—On the auspicious occasion of Sant Shri Ravidas Ji’s Jayanti, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav extended his heartfelt greetings to the nation, paying tribute to the revered saint’s teachings of devotion, harmony, and social equality.
Recalling Sant Ravidas Ji’s contributions during an era of foreign invasions and social disparities, Dr. Yadav emphasized the saint’s unwavering commitment to spreading the message of unity and spiritual enlightenment from the ghats of Banaras. "Sant Ravidas Ji’s teachings continue to inspire generations, guiding us toward a more inclusive and harmonious society," he remarked.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the Madhya Pradesh government's initiative to develop a grand pilgrimage site in Sagar, dedicated to Sant Ravidas Ji. This project aims to create a spiritual center that reflects the saint’s legacy and teachings. Additionally, other historically significant sites associated with Sant Ravidas Ji, including those in Ujjain, are being developed into pilgrimage destinations.
These initiatives, Dr. Yadav stated, are part of the government’s broader commitment to preserving and honoring the contributions of great saints who have shaped India’s spiritual and cultural fabric. He urged people to imbibe Sant Ravidas Ji’s values of love, equality, and devotion in their daily lives.
