Chandigarh: As the Haryana assembly elections approach, state BJP President Mohan Lal Badoli has openly criticized the alliance between AAP and Congress, suggesting that their partnership is rooted in corrupt practices. Speaking about the recent meeting between the two parties, Badoli accused them of sharing a governance model that focuses on "loot and corruption."
"They have signed agreements earlier as well. Both have a similar model of governance which revolves around loot and corruption," Badoli remarked, highlighting his concerns over the alliance. He went on to criticize Congress, claiming that the party has historically worked to weaken democracy in the country.
Regarding the upcoming elections, Badoli mentioned that the BJP's national leadership would soon make decisions about announcing their candidates. "Our national leadership will decide on announcing candidates soon," he stated, indicating that preparations are underway for the electoral battle.
Badoli also addressed concerns about athlete participation in politics, affirming the party's respect for sports figures. "Anyone can contest elections. We have always respected our players and we will continue to do so," he assured, reiterating BJP's inclusive approach to candidate selection.
The comments from Badoli set the tone for an intense electoral contest in Haryana, with alliances and accusations shaping the political landscape ahead of the polls.
