NEW DELHI: Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj launched a scathing critique of the BJP, raising questions about gangsters operating from jail and the inflow of illegal immigrants into the country. Speaking at a press briefing, Bharadwaj challenged BJP leaders, including Vijender Gupta, to explain their stance.

"The names of gangsters mentioned by the CM and former CM today are appearing in newspapers every day. Is any of those gangsters a Bangladeshi? Rohingya? No. They do not belong to any particular religion. These gangsters are only against the law," Bharadwaj stated.

He expressed concern about how gangsters, many of whom are already imprisoned, continue to extort crores of rupees from behind bars. "Law and order is very bad. How is extortion of crores of rupees being done from jail? If you deliberately want to link it to someone, that responsibility is yours as well," he said.

The minister also accused the BJP-led central government of failing to secure the country’s borders. "How are Bangladeshis entering here despite you being in power for 10-11 years? How are Rohingyas coming here? Are you sleeping at the border? What are you doing? This is very shameful for them," Bharadwaj added.

Bharadwaj’s remarks come amid ongoing debates on illegal immigration and its impact on crime rates. His comments have sparked political exchanges, with both AAP and BJP leaders trading barbs over governance and accountability in Delhi.
